After having kept the Pierre à Bérard refuge, near Vallorcine,
Jules and Joséphine SIMOND have opened the CREMERIE DU BOUCHET in 1910 for the 5 O’clock tea of the numerous british people having holiday in Chamonix at this time.

In the 40’s, the building has two floor and 8 rooms. In 1946, Marthe SIMOND their daughter follow after them with her husband Albert SCHMITT.

They enlarge and modernize the hotel, change its name into l’ARVEYRON and build two annexes.

Nowadays, Alain, their son, his wife and their Grand-daughter follow up the reception tradition of four generations.
